Congratulations to Trevor Hirschfield on being named Sport BC’s Athlete with a Disability of the Year. Trevor received the honour at the 50th Annual Sport BC Athlete of the Year Awards.
This has been a year of honours for Trevor Hirschfield. After leading Team Canada to a gold medal at the Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games, he was named IPC’s Athlete of the Month: one of the few low-point players to have received the honour. The team was also nominated for the CBC Sport Moment of Summer for their performance.
Trevor will compete this weekend at the Vancouver Invitational Wheelchair Rugby Tournament at the Richmond Olympic Oval.
