The BC Wheelchair Rugby had an undefeated weekend at the 2023 edition of the Slam on The Sound hosted by the Seattle Slam Wheelchair Rugby Team. Led by player/coach and Tournament MVP Trevor Hirschfield, BC went a perfect 5-0 to capture the title defeating teams from Seattle, Portland, Las Vegas, Reno and Denver.

The tournament was an opportunity to try out some new line-ups and combinations with a mix of experienced and emerging talent competing for BC and a good early season tune-up for many athletes ahead of selection camp and a busy rugby season.
