Team BC win the 2023 Parasports Invitational

The BC Wheelchair Rugby Team had a victorious weekend in Montreal as they went 4-1 to claim the Parasports Invitational title at College Edouard Montpetit.
BC opened the competition with a decisive 65-43 win over Quebec on Friday and followed it up with a 58-39 win over London on Saturday morning before falling to Ottawa 50-44 and then winning a nailbiter 44-43 over Montreal to book their place in Sunday’s final.
Facing Ottawa again in the championship game, BC learned from their earlier match-up and put together an impressive defensive performance, creating plenty of turnovers and winning out 50-43 to end 2023 on a high note.
