Vancouver’s Mitch McIntyre is set to represent Canada at the upcoming 2019 BNP Paribas World Team Cup at the Larry and Mary Greenspon Israel Tennis Centre in Ramat Hasharon from May 13-18th.
After finishing sixth at last year’s World Team Cup, McIntyre is hoping for an even better result in Tel Aviv.
“Last year was my first nomination to the team and it was an unforgettable experience,” he says.
“I’m excited for the challenge and we are looking to improve on our 6th place finish from last year.
Team Canada is in a pool with Great Britain and South Africa, both teams that include players ranked within the top 10.
“The competition in the quad division is at a level I haven’t seen since I’ve been on the tour.
