• Limb Loss Awareness Month Wheelchair Sports Have-A-Go Night in Kelowna

April is Limb Loss Awareness Month!

BC Wheelchair Sports and BC Wheelchair Basketball are heading up to Kelowna to host a wheelchair sports Have-Go Night in partnership with Interior Health. 

Community members are invited to come out and try wheelchair basketball and wheelchair tennis at Okanagan Mission Secondary School on Monday, April 15th from 6-8:30pm. 

Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about a number of other community resources including:

  • KGH Prosthetic and Orthotic Dept  
  • Interior Health Community Programs
  • Provincial Funding Programs
  • The War Amps/CHAMP 
  • Canadian Education Requirements
