Paulo Guerrero (North Vancouver) continues to improve and was rewarded for his hard work with gold in the T53 100m with a time of 19.62. Guerrero also added silver medals in the 200m, 400m and 800m races posting a personal best of 1:10.64

Tiana Hesmert (Richmond) also impressed and won her first National medal with a gold in the Women’s T52 200m race.

In The Throwing Circle

Tiana Hesmert added another medal to her collection in the Women’s Seated Shot Put. She finished 3rd with a best throw of 3.74 meters and a RAZA score of 528.

Additionally, Daryl Yuen (Vancouver) marked his return to the national scene with a couple PBs in F55 throwing events. Yuen had a personal best in discus with a 17.28 throw and added another PB in Shot Put with a 5.42m throw.
