(Ottawa, ON) (Vancouver, BC) Wheelchair Rugby Canada and BC Wheelchair Sports Association are deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Paralympian Ian Chan (Richmond, BC) on March 18, 2019 at the age of 41.
BC Wheelchair Sports honored recently retired Paralympians and departing staff and board members at an Evening of Celebration at the Richmond Olympic Oval.
Honorees included: athletes Sarah Hunter, Michelle Stillwell and Ian Chan, Coach Steve Manley and board member Lia Threlfall.
