    • A biennial tournament that brings the world’s top national teams to the Richmond Olympic Oval every two years ahead of the World Wheelchair Rugby Championships and/or Paralympic Games! Come out and cheer for Team Canada as they fight for gold.

    • One of North America’s longest running Wheelchair Rugby tournaments. This annual event brings top club teams from across Canada and the Pacific Northwest to the Richmond Olympic Oval each spring!

    • One of our two marquee wheelchair tennis tournaments. The Vancouver International is part of the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour and welcomes competitors from around the world to Kits Beach every July!

    • Kamloops Legacy Wheelchair Tennis Tournament

    • One of our marquee Wheelchair Tennis tournaments. The Kamloops tournament is also part of the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour and welcomes athletes from across Canada and around the world to sunny Kamloops to compete for the title and ITF World ranking points.

    • There are many Track and Field meets and road races held throughout the year; These include our annual recreational Push Push Put Put meet, BC Athletics meets, World Para Athletics events and more.

    • National Championships

    • BCWSA athletes compete in National Championships across our three sports as part of their respective provincial team programs. These annual championships take place in different cities across Canada as athletes and teams vie to be Canadian champions.

    • Major Games and International Championships

    • Many BCWSA athletes have represented Canada on the international stage at major games and championships including the Paralympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Parapan Am Games, World Para Athletics Championship, BNP Paribas World Team Cup and more.
