Wheelchair curling is played under rules established by the World Curling Federation.

The major rules are:
  1. Games are 6 ends with an extra end to be played in the event of a tie.
  2. Stones are delivered from a stationary wheelchair from the center line and released before the hogline.
  3. No sweeping permitted
  4. Teams must be of mixed gender
  5. Participation limited to people who usually require a wheelchair for daily mobility
