BCWSA Junior Sport Camps BCWSA's 2009 Junior Sport Camps were as full of fun and games as always and a good time was had by all! Camps 1,2 and 3 were held in partnership with the Easter Seals Sumer Camp Program - one at Shawnigan Lake, one at Camp Squamish and one in the Okanagan. Our 4th camp was held at the brand new Olympic Oval in Richmond which was a real hit with everyone! We are very grateful for the support of Intact, Hamber Foundation, Vancouver Sun Children's Fund, Easter Seals of British Columbia, Chris Spencer Foundation, Loyal Protestant Foundation and the Province of BC for helping make our sport camps possible. Special thanks as well to all our 'happy campers', camp leaders and volunteers for another great season - see you next year! 2009 Camp photos Our Junior Sport Camps introduce youths to a wide variety of sport and recreation opportunities, activities that help young people experience independence, teamwork and fun. Both able-bodied and youth with a disability are welcome which allows siblings and friends to participate in the camps as well.
