Torino 2006 What a triumph for Canada at the 2006 Paralympic Winter Games in Torino, Italy. The Canadian Team posted 13 Medals: 5 gold, 3 silver and 5 Bronze, putting Canada in 6th place overall in the final standings. And one of those Gold medals was wheelchair curling! Canada's Wheelchair Curling team brought home a Gold medal following their win over Great Britain. The skills and determination of this fantastic team made it happen.
