Peter Devoe Memorial Junior Athlete of the Year to top
CRITERIA - Any athlete under 19 years of age, competing on a team or in an individual sport in wheelchair sports in the province of BC. Nominees in this category do not have to demonstrate outstanding performance but rather should display commitment and enthusiasm in their sport. The award is presented in the form of a $200 scholarship to assist the junior athlete in his or her training and athletic endeavours. Peter's spirit of encouragement and enthusiasm will live on in the Peter Devoe Memorial Fund.

CRITERIA - Any coach who has resided in BC for the past year and has been responsible for the coaching of an amateur team or teams and/or individuals at any level of athletics. Nominees in this category should demonstrate commitment and dedication as a coach throughout the year(s).

Stan Stronge Volunteer of the Year to top
CRITERIA - Any British Columbian who has volunteered his/her time in support of the development of wheelchair sports in BC.
The Stan Stronge Volunteer of the Year Award was also established in 1985. Stan Stronge was one of the founding members of CWSA-BC and is often referred to as the "Father of CWSA-BC". Stan is a true example of the spirit of volunteerism and has given much to the Association over the years.

CRITERIA - Any individual, under 25 years old, who is an active member as a volunteer or athlete who demonstrates enthusiasm, commitment, spirit and sportsmanship.

NOTE: A $200 Bursary is awarded to the recipient of the Mairin Johnston Award.
